I believe in the power of clear, compelling narratives as tools for keeping people informed and curious. Whether I'm designing, illustrating, or writing, this is at the heart of everything I do.
When I was a designer at The Walrus, I commissioned emerging and seasoned artists to visualize complex stories with compassion. I also spearheaded UX design practices for improved web accessibility and responsiveness.
Previously, I was a reporter for the Toronto Star, a photo editor for The Eyeopener, and the 2019 editor and chief visuals editor of The Review of Journalism. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from the Toronto Metropolitan University.
